We Qualified. Now Let’s Max the Match.

Denver made it official: this campaign has qualified for the Fair Elections Fund, the public financing program voters created to keep local elections in the hands of neighbors instead of big money. Since this journey began, 319 contributions totaling more than $26,700 have carried us here. To everyone who chipped in, thank you. This is your campaign.

Qualifying changes the math. From here on, the first $50 of every Denver resident’s contribution is matched nine to one by the city: your $50 becomes $500. To max out the Fund’s full disbursement of $298,365, we need about 550 more Denver donors giving $50 each, and the window closes September 30. Chip in here, and tell a friend, tell a neighbor.

This week brought one more milestone. With Tim Sandos joining Debbie Ortega, two former at-large council members now stand with this campaign. The people who have held this exact seat are telling Denver who should hold it next. Read every endorsement.
