Debbie Ortega, in her own words

Debbie Ortega held this seat. She served Denver as a district council member and then as an at-large member, and she knows what it takes to answer to the whole city. Her endorsement means a great deal to me, and now you can hear it from her directly.

Her written endorsement says it best:

As someone who has dedicated much of my life to serving the citizens and the city of Denver, both as a ward council member and as an at-large representative, I know what it takes to represent the entire city: strength, compassion, collaboration, and accountability. Alfredo Reyes is the right leader for this moment. It’s time for the next generation to take the reins. Denver faces difficult budget decisions and important decisions about its growth, and that requires sound judgment and deep roots in this city. Alfredo has both, and he has my full support to be our next at-large council member!
